Kauai’s Sandpiper Village enjoys a safe, convenient location just a mile from shops, restaurants, grocery store, and gas station at the Princeville shopping center. A lovely walking path is just across the street and will take you to shopping, dining, golfing, the park, and the library. Walk or drive to Hideaways Beach. Great north shore beaches like Anini are just a few minutes drive. The charming, artsy little village of Hanalei, and Hanalei's great beaches are a 10 minute drive away. If you enjoy golfing or tennis, the Makai Club is only a mile. You can walk to Hideaways Pizza Pub in about 10 minutes, and you'll want to stop in there to try the Rooster pizza with a nice glass of red wine! You'll truly stay like a local at this Kauai vacation rental! This older apartment complex is home to many permanent residents, mainly young, and provides some great amenities like pool, jacuzzi, and barbecue grills. Unit amenities include free wifi,Smart TV, full bathroom, kitchenette.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Kauai and your stay at our Sandpiper studio! Hope you'll come back to stay with us again :-)The only design issue is the sink is used for both the bathroom and kitchen and there is little counter space. We had trouble from the first day with the refrigerator not working and had to live with retrieving items from a cooler with ice for several days. However, this was fixed in about two days once we discovered the problem was not due to icing of the coils due to the previous renter turning down the temperature thermostat (wish it took a day). A new refrigerator was installed but took some time to get to the proper temperature to place food in it.
The owner of Kauai Kahuna Vacation Rentals offered to remove one day of rent for our troubles and I gladly accepted. However, the return had not occurred by about 3-4 weeks later. I had to call again to remind them of this agreement. They did get me that refund very shortly thereafter.
Overall, I believe it is a reasonable value if one does not have the issues we had during our stay and the people who initially answer calls do not drop the ball once in a while.

And it complicated figuring out that the fridge problem was not related to the electric problem and get the fridge replaced.
